Brittney Castro

Brittney Castro is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), and Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) and financial expert specializing in financial literacy and empowerment.

 

Based in Los Angeles, she has extensive experience as an entrepreneur, speaker, and media personality, with a focus on helping women and millennials understand and manage their finances. She founded Financially Wise Inc., a Los Angeles-based financial planning firm with the mission of teaching individuals and couples how to manage their money in a fun and simple way. She has since sold the practice to focus on other ventures.

 

She is a go-to financial expert for numerous media outlets, including CNN, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times. She has also served as the in-house CFP for Mint and as a Chase Financial Education Ambassador. As a leading speaker, host, and brand ambassador, Castro has worked with major companies like Chase, Intuit, CNBC, E*Trade, and Airbnb to promote financial literacy.

 

She was named one of "40 Under 40" in 2020 and one of 22 "Women to Watch" in 2018. She was also ranked on Investopedia's Top Influential Financial Advisors list.

 

She is a CFP® Pro spokeswoman, working with the CFP Board to educate women and minorities about careers in financial planning.

In 2021, Brittney co-hosted and produced “Chantel’s Money Moves” a show backed by Facebook to teach Gen Z’s personal finance and investing.
